Kayla grew up in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, and earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Lebanon Valley College, becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2017. Since graduating, she has continued to specialize in Manual Therapy, utilizing an in-depth biomechanical approach to assessment along with hands-on intervention to help patients achieve faster, more functional results.

In 2020, Kayla became a Certified Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapist (COMT) through the North Atlantic Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She is currently pursuing fellowship training through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and is expected to earn her FAAOMPT certification in 2026. This highly specialized credential represents “Expert Status” within the field of Manual Therapy and places her among an elite group of physical therapists in the United States trained to manage complex cases that may not have responded to traditional physical therapy approaches.

Kayla has experience treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions, including pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, workers’ compensation cases, hypermobility syndromes, and osteoarthritis/osteoporosis.

In addition, Kayla has specialized training in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ/TMD). She had the unique privilege of studying under a direct colleague of Dr. Mariano Rocabado, widely regarded as one of the world’s leading experts in TMD research and treatment.

Kayla has experience treating patients ranging from 2 weeks old to 100 years young. She is known for her high energy and motivating personality in the clinic. Outside the clinic, Kayla enjoys singing, playing guitar and ukulele, volleyball, snowboarding, and backpacking.

Kayla firmly believes that creating a positive environment is the first step toward physical improvement.
